I just got here.

It’s been a struggle to decipher, but below is what I believe the format of the reviews are on this website.

What the hell is going on here?:

  1. Movie Title, director, and year of release

  2. A summary of the movie written by chatgpt

  3. Single sentence positive and negative reviews generated by chatgpt from a certain perspective. Guess the perspective and check the bottom of the review for the answer.

  4. Six haikus “reviewing” the movie

  5. “Art” generated in MidJourney using the haikus as prompts

  6. Nine different opinions on the movie

  7. Estimated budget, estimated world-wide box office revenue, and ratio (the higher the more successful)

  8. My rating (scale explained below) and bonus “art”.

  9. The perspective of the positive and negative comments from #3.

The Rating Scale

A Nine Point Scale

The government…

supposedly uses a nine point scale when performing surveys on the meals service members will be required to eat when away from civilization. Why nine? Ten wouldn’t fit on the form.

A Seven Point Scale

But…

most people don’t use the first and last options in a rating scale, some assuming that there can always be something better or worse coming in the future. So I cut the scale down.

How to read my rating?

What does the seven point scale mean to me?

What does a rating of 1 mean?

The worst.

What does a rating of 2 mean?

I hate it.

What does a rating of 3 mean?

I don’t like it.

What does a rating of 4 mean?

Shrug.

What does a rating of 5 mean?

I like it.

What does a rating of 6 mean?

I love it.

What does a rating of 7 mean?

The best.
